We are currently looking for a Retail and Distribution Assistant to join our Distribution Service team in Grafton. This is an on-call/casual opportunity which will give you the flexibility to work across a wide range of departments. Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends and reliability at a moments notice is an advantage.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Provide excellent customer service 
  • Assist with inducting volunteers 
  • Receiving, sorting and packing of donated goods
  • Packing up of food parcels for the foodbank
  • Making up Food Bank orders
  • Storing and stocktaking of goods
  • Assisting other staff as needed

Our Ideal Candidate: 

  • Has retail experience, op shop experience a bonus! 
  • A good knowledge of Internet trading will be required 
  • Amazing customer service skills 
  • Well organised, efficient and flexible
  • Detail orientated 
  • Must be physically fit and able 
  • Must be reliable, able to work independently and prepared to work as part of an dedicated team
  • A clean criminal record and full NZ driver licence 
  • Flexibility to work across different sites would be an advantage!
